QHSE Policy
Wavefield Inseis believes that all accidents are preventable. The company is committed to prioritising the health and safety of every person involved in our operations as well as the protection of the environment in which those operations take place.
Wavefield Inseis recognises that it can only eliminate accidents, occupational health problems and unsafe practices if all employees and sub-contractors are aware that they are each responsible for their own safety and the safety of others at their work place.
To co-create this culture with our employees, Wavefield Inseis shall:
- Provide leadership by example by managing HSE accountability, authority and performance as a line responsibility
- Promote the use of leading indicators when setting HSE Objectives. Emphasis shall be placed upon prevention rather than correction
- Promote HSE awareness to ensure that all employees and sub-contractors understand and accept that they are responsible for their own safety and that of others around them
- Implement training and provide resources in order that all employees have the knowledge and capabilities to take ownership of their, and the company’s, HSE performance
- Provide a secure and safe work environment to protect all employees, sub-contractors and any other persons visiting our work sites from harm
- Maintain a Management System exceeding industry expectations that will provide the tools to transparently demonstrate the company and its employees conduct safe business
- Demand focus and awareness of the risks and hazards associated with all company operations and promote techniques to manage them
- Carry out regular audits and inspections of our own operations, facilities and departments and those of our sub-contractors and suppliers
- Support any employee that stops an operation if they consider it unsafe
In a changing marketplace, the long-term corporate success of Wavefield Inseis relies upon continuous monitoring and evolution, which dictates an integrated Quality, Safety, Heath and Environment Management System.
This Policy is written in the best interests of all stakeholders: customers, employees, sub-contractors and shareholders. It is the CEO of Wavefield Inseis who carries the ultimate responsibility of ensuring that the commitments within this Policy are carried out.
