Barbados 1st Offshore Licensing Round

In preparation for Barbados' 1st offshore licensing round, Wavefield Inseis acquired ~8,000 km long offset multi-client 2D seismic data in cooperation with the Government of Barbados.
The survey is designed to establish the major hydrocarbon prospective trends in the Barbados offshore sector and will delineate the structural relations between the Tobago Basin, the Barbados Ridge and Barbados Trough as well as the northwest part of the Barbados ridge. Surrounding the island, the survey provides for important ties both to the onshore geology of Barbados and the Sandy Lane well located 145km south of Barbados, just north of the border with Trinidad Tobago. The final processed seismic and grav/mag data is now available to the industry.
