Anders Farestveit - Chairman
Mr Farestveit received his MSc. from the University of Bergen in 1965. He started his career as director in Geoteam's geophysical department. In 1973, he was one of the founders of Geco where he held the position as Managing Director. In 1987, Schlumberger acquired Geco and Mr Farestveit assumed the position as the Managing Director of Schlumberger Norway, retiring in 1998. He was appointed an Honorary Doctor at the University of Bergen in 1996 and was awarded an Honorary Membership in SEG in 1997. He is currently a board member of DNO, CMI and NFR-Forny 2000 (Chairman).

Kjell-Arne Oppebøen
Kjell-Arne Oppebøen holds a MSc in Geophysics from the University of Oslo. He has held several managerial positions within Norsk Hydro from 1971 – 2002 and been their Country Manager in Mexico from 2005 - 2007. Through his experience he has achieved a broad understanding and knowledge of seismic acquisition, processing and interpretation, unitization/sharing of reserves, national and international exploration and production technology, licence management, field development selection, production operation, HES and business development. He served as the Director of the Kon-Kraft process from 2002 – 2005. Kjell-Arne Oppebøen has been a member and chairman of boards of several national and international organizations and committees, and has been elected President of European Association of Exploration Geophysicists and was elected President of European Association of Petroleum Geoscientists. He gives lectures to MBA students at the Norwegian School of Management (BI). Kjell-Arne Oppebøen is a Norwegian citizen.

Merete Myhrstad
Merete Myhrstad holds a Master’s degree in Business and Administration from the Norwegian School of Management, and is a Public Authorised Auditor from the Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration. Merete Myhrstad is currently working as a consultant with UniConsult, which she joined in 2007. Prior to this she was the Head of Section in the section for Financial Reporting Supervision in the Financial Supervisory Authority of Norway, with the responsibility to develop and manage the control of the financial reporting of listed Norwegian companies. Prior to this, Merete Myhrstad has been with the Oslo Stock exchange for seven years where she held several positions. Merete Myhrstad has also been working as an auditor in Arthur Andersen & Co. Merete Myhrstad is a Norwegian Citizen.

Synne Syrrist
Mrs Syrrist holds an advanced engineering degree in industrial economics from the Norwegian Institute of Technology at the University of Trondheim, Imperial College, University of London, and is an authorised financial analyst from the Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration. She has previously worked as a financial analyst at Elcon Securities and First Securities and currently works as an independent consultant. Mrs Syrrist currently serves on the board of Blom, Scan Subsea, Copeinca, Faktor Eiendom, APL, Castelar Corporate Finance, Occan HeavyLift, Cecon and Corporacion Pesquera Inca. For the last five years, Mrs Syrrist has served on the board of Eastern Drilling and Clecon.

Dag Erik Rasmussen
Mr. Rasmussen is partner in Advokatfirmaet Selmer DA and Candidate in Jurisprudence from the University of Oslo (1989). His education includes studies in political science from Møre og Romsdal University College.
Mr Rasmussen has long-standing practice as counsel in connection with M&As, IPOs and securities. He has been lead counsel for a number of investment banks on a variety of transactions.
Before joining Selmer, Mr Rasmussen was Secretary of the Board and Secretary for the Stock Exchange Council at the Oslo Stock Exchange 1999-2000, head of legal department at the Oslo Stock Exchange 1998-2000, legal counsel at Oslo Stock Exchange 1995-98, associate Wiersholm, Mellbye & Bech 1993-94, legal counsel Lillehammer Olympic Committee 1993-94 and associate Hauge & Stange Lund 1992-93. Rasmussen has also experience as deputy judge in Nedre Romerike Municipal Court 1990-93 and as public prosecutor at Larvik Police Authority 1989-90. Dag Erik Rasmussen is a lecturer within Securities Law. Rasmussen currently also holds a position as director of the board of Sector Asset Management AS
