The acquisition of IS-FSTE-06 has started

Wavefield Inseis has now started the acquisition of our multi client 2D seismic survey "Faroe Island - Shetland Tie Extension 2006" (IS-FSTE-06), covering areas on both UK and Faroese sector. M/V Bergen Surveyor is acquiring the data, using a Teledyne SDS-55 streamer and dual Bolt Annular Port Gun source arrays. The streamer length is 9 km and source is operating at a volume of 4,400 cu. inch. The long offset and powerful source combined with extensive experience from processing of the IS-FST-02 survey will ensure high quality data, planned to be available during December 2006.
