Gatwick, 9 August 2006. Wavefield Inseis AS, the leading marine geophysical specialist, has appointed Phil Suter to the position of regional marketing and sales manager, EAM. With extensive experience in the E&P industry, the appointment further strengthens Wavefield’s senior management team, with Suter set to play a key role in developing the company through its next phase of growth.

With 31 years experience in the oil and gas industry, Suter joins Wavefield after four years as an independent consultant and working through Flare Solutions. Previously, Suter has held a number of senior positions within the industry, including regional geoscience director at Paradigm Geophysical and senior management and marketing positions at Geco.

Based at Wavefield’s London offices, Suter will report directly to Rick Donoghue, vice president sales and marketing, and will be responsible for increasing the awareness of the company’s client services, together with leading the coordination and focusing of Wavefield’s marketing and sales activities throughout the EAM region.

As Donoghue, explained, “Phil will bring invaluable experience to the role of marketing and sales manager. In addition to having a wealth of expertise in the E&P industry, he has a proven track record within the global marketplace which will be of real benefit to the ongoing development of the company.”
