Phase 2 of InSeis’ Multi Client 2D seismic survey campaign offshore Colombia is successfully completed! On December 25th, 2005, the state-of-the-art seismic vessel M/V Polar Venturer successfully finalized the acquisition of 3,996 km of regional seismic 2D data covering areas offshore the Pacific coast of Colombia. The vessel towed a 10,050 m streamer. The data will be processed by Geotrace, and final processed regional data is expected to be available during April 2006. The acquisition of Phase 3 of the campaign offshore the Pacific coast of Colombia has started and is scheduled to be completed late January 2006 including approx. 4,130 km of semi-detailed lines over the San Juan and Tumaco Basins. Processed data from both Pacific surveys will be available during the spring of 2006 and a comprehensive interpretation study, tying and calibrating the Pacific Colombian offshore basins to adjacent onshore basins, will be produced.
