Wavefield Geophysical AS & Inseis AS

From April 1st, 2006 Wavefield and Inseis are cooperating in order to optimise the operations of our common seismic fleet. InSeis will as before plan, conduct, market and sell Multi Client geophysical data and use the state-of-the-art seismic vessels M/V Bergen Surveyor and M/V Geowave Commander for acquiring our future Multi Client surveys, while the main focus of Wavefield is to offer these vessels for the oil companies’ exclusive seismic projects.

M/V Geowave Commander is a newly commissioned seismic vessel rigged with brand new seismic equipment capable of towing 6 x 9,000 m or 8 x 6,000 m Sercel Seal 24-bit Digital streamers.

The state-of-the-art 2D vessel M/V Bergen Surveyor is equipped with a 12 km Teledyne SDS-55 Digital solid streamer and a new Annular Air Port Gun 85000 source.

Wavefield Geophysical is a Norwegian marine geophysical company providing a high quality range of services including long offset 2D, high capacity 3D and full service permanent 4D acquisition. The company specialises in increasing the exploration success of its clients and assisting them in maximising production from their existing reservoirs.

Wavefield’s staff is highly experienced within the industry, including operations, project management, engineering, design, mechanical engineering, positioning, acquisition QC, equipment support, field support, data processing, and financial management.
